Gigi Hadid And Model Pals Celebrate 100 Years Of Maybelline
Gigi Hadid and other Maybelline beauties joined the makeup brand to celebrate its 100th birthday. Gigi was head to toe in Balmain for the event. She matched a floor length orange striped jacket with a mini skirt to show off her long legs, a high neck black top completed the look. Hey makeup was perfection, a bold dark cat eye with a super glossy nude lip. British Jourdan Dunn wowed in white for the occasion, with an asymmetrical hem and a midriff cutout revealing her svelte figure. She was joined by a camera ready Emily Di Donato, who rocked a fresh-faced look for the event. Charlotte Kemp Muhl worked some quirky cartoon ears with a khaki boiler suit while Toni Garn chose to keep it simple in a white blouse. Read More

Content Insider #391 - New Content Leaders
Almost everywhere you turned at NAB there was a booth featuring products/tools for indie filmmakers, educational sessions to cover anything/everything and a loosely connected next generation of producers, directors, filmmakers. The new tools, Internet and IPTV/OTT everywhere changed the face and infrastructure of the media & entertainment industry. Indies know that not everyone wants to watch another spin-off of CSI, NCIS and cockamamie formula police/fireman show. Great thing is the indie films don't have to be blockbusters they just have to find their group of people around the world who want to view their shows. Only people who seemed bewildered (and determined to protect their territory) at the show were the network, cable, studio bosses. Indies aren't worried...the tools are right...the overhead is right...the time is right! Read More

Along the way, the duo encounters several twists and turns that mirror common production challenges filmmakers face today. At NAB it was obvious that the content galaxy is exploding with star wars battles everywhere on who will take control and win out every segment of the media & entertainment industry. It's traditional over cable, it's OTT, it's mobile, it's aerial, it's social media, it's Hollywood, it's indie filmmakers, it's kids in school, it's all of the above.
