Motorola Demonstrates Streamaster Set-Top Box Enables DSL Service Providers to Deliver Convergent Voice, Video and Data Services to Customers (May 31, 2001) Motorola is providing an advanced set-top system, called Streamaster, to help Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) network service providers meet ever-increasing consumer demand for broadband-enabled entertainment. Streamaster offers a wide range of consumer broadband multimedia services such as digital-quality broadcast television, high-speed Web access, 2-D and 3-D games, video and music-on-demand and on-line shopping.

During SuperComm 2001 (June 5-7), Motorola will be demonstrating Streamaster's capabilities at the Hard Rock Cafe located at 215 Peach Tree Street in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition, several Motorola customers and alliance members are showcasing the Streamaster system on the convention center show floor June 4-7. The companies and their booth numbers include Alcatel (booth 717), Cisco Systems (booth 5916), iMagicTV (booth 1257), Lucent Technologies (booth 4147), Minerva Networks (booth 3454), Nortel Networks (booth 8048), Optical Solutions (booth 7468), VideoTele.com (booth 7393) and World Wide Packets (booth 2932).
