Cotton StrapShot EV1 Holster
Cotton StrapShot EV1 Holster
Photographers need to be ready to take a photo at a moment's notice, but must be diligent in protecting the expensive equipment they are using. Ditching a lens cap for a cheap UV filter reduces the time it take you to go from camera off to click the shutter. Camera bags are chosen for their ability to keep gear safe and how easy they allow you to access that gear. If you are of an adventurous mind and spend your time hiking through the woods, casting a line in a river, or any number of outdoor activities, you face the same two problems but to more of an extreme. The Cotton StrapShot EV1 Holster is here to lend a helping hand. Read More

Super What?
 Super What?
While hundreds of millions of Americans flopped on sofas and relaxed in recliners this evening to watch the game. Millions of other people couldn't have cared a less about the big game festivities. For reasons such as no interest in football or their team was knocked out of the running a long time ago. So these people are enjoying shorter lines at the local discount stores and quick seating at some local Restaurants. Sophia Timmermeyer/Super Bowl What: "Just not into football (laughter) that much and it's not my team I don't really care. Except for the commercials are funny but that's about it. Isabelle Schmidtberger/Super Bowl What: "I'll probably go to the mall and go to Petland and play with the puppies (laughter). That's a good question I don't know I just it's not really my sport that I really like so. I don't know what's the point of watching yeah I probably just go to Petland and play with puppies." ? So for some non-football fans, this is a day just for getting out and enjoying what they love. Read More

Resolve 12.5
Resolve 12.5
Over the years, I have used many, many different video editors - Adobe Premiere 4.2 was probably my first NLE, followed by a long stint with Sony (now MAGIX) Vegas and flutters with AVID, EDIUS, one called Speed Razor and of course I have reviewed just about every package our there over the last 20 odd years costing from hundreds to many thousands of dollars. So, when I am told that a full on, top featured package as used by the Hollywood heavyweights is available for free, of course my ears prick up just a little and I want to know more. Is it so complex that I won't be able to grasp its workflow? Or does it require so much computer horsepower my modest Dell XPS 2710 all-in-one won't drive it? Perhaps the claims are overblown? A Close Look at The Panasonic AG-UX90 Camera
A Close Look at The Panasonic AG-UX90 Camera
For the last couple of weeks I have had a chance to test the new AG-UX90 camera from Panasonic. The lightweight camera is great for the photog on the go or for those doing documentary work. Should you grab this camera? I run down the great, and not so great features of the camera, in this review. The camera captures images on a 1-inch CMOS sensor, which ends up giving the user a better depth of field than other cameras you'll find in this price range. It isn't a full frame sensor, but then again, this camera isn't designed for DSLR fans, or those planning on shooting a feature film. Read More
